Hey! I'm Mani
I'm all in on AI Engineering because it’s what I do in my daily role, and continue to like to do that and my specific interests are software engineering, testing, data analysis, visualisation and all things AI/ML. These days I’m even more involved with Security and Cloud/DevOps/Infra activities as part of this role.
I’m a Software Engineer turned Data/AI/ML Engineer with 25+ years of professional experience in the space of backend software engineering, testing and delivering quality solutions into production. And over 7+ years of experience in Data and AI, with the AI Engineering Certification star on my shoulder. My primary programming languages are Java and Python but I have dabbled with other tech stack as well. I believe in end-to-end development process from requirements gathering to deployment into production and the post-deployment processes which can also include observability. Learning and implementing using best/good practices in everything I do. I have made many contributions to F/OSS projects over the last 10+ years. 📈 I'm SO excited about AI Engineering because
In my view it is a nice blend between Software Engineering, ML Engineering and Data Science. Depending on who you speak to, Data Engineering also plays a role in this process. And with the shift left movement xxxOps and Security are also being included in the mix.
