Hi! I’m Laura. I have a BSc. in Mathematics from Simon Fraser University and have built my career as a data scientist and developer advocate for the last 5 years. My interest in building with LLMs began with the LLM-boom with the introduction of Chat GPT. I have built various RAG systems and I am currently writing a book about building LLM-based pipelines with Haystack.

Fun fact about me: I love fitness and I have a blue belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu. I have competed both in gi and no gi challenges and love pushing myself.
